Our owner is a licensed general contractor with the Nebraska and Iowa Departments of Business and has more than 26 years of experience in all areas of construction.


Jim LaHood Construction is a long-time member of the Better Business Bureau's Honor Roll and recipient of Angie's List

Meet Our Owner Jim LaHood

Jim was born and raised in Omaha, NE. He has 2 children and currently resides in the Midtown area.


He worked as a carpenter apprentice to Jim Fiske for more than 5 years, learning the construction trade, before founding Jim LaHood Construction in 1986. Jim possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in all facets of construction with a specialization in roofing.
